AP400- Lift & Slide Door 

The AP400 our premium lift-and-slide aluminium door system designed for large openings  (patios, terraces, garden facades) where large, glazed expanses, smooth operation, thermal  performance, and security are required. “Lift & slide” means the sash is lifted slightly off its  seals when you operate the handle, reducing friction, and then lowered when closed to  engage seals for airtightness and weather-resistance. 

  • Large, glazed views with relatively slim sightlines (minimal frame obstruction) to bring  in natural light.  
  • Ease of operation: Because of the lift mechanism, even heavy sashes move with less  effort.  
  • Thermal performance: Good U-value ranges, effective thermal break and ability to  specify higher performance glazing.  
  • Flexibility: Multiple track configurations, custom sizes, many colour options.
  • Robustness & security: Strong metal mechanisms, multi-point locking, solid profiles. 

AP300 BiFolding Door 

The AP300 is a bi-fold door system by APS, and manufactured in our facility, built for modern  architectural use. It’s designed to open large spans, bring in light, and create a seamless  connection between indoor and outdoor spaces. The system uses multiple hinged sashes that  fold and stack to the side when opened, allowing for wide unobstructed openings. 

  • Thermal Efficiency: With the thermal break and glazing options, the AP300 can  achieve U-values up to about 1.4 W/m²K. Good, though exact performance depends  on how large the span is, the glazing spec, and installation quality.  
  • Weather & Sealing: Meets (or intended to meet) BS 6375 Part 1, which deals with air  permeability, water tightness, wind resistance. That means good resistance to wind  load, leakage, etc. 
  • Security: Multi-point locking, possibility for keyed locks on intermediate leaves, heavy duty robust metalwork.

Roof Lantern 

The APS Stratus Roof Lantern is a fixed glazed roof structure designed to sit over flat roofs or  extensions to bring in natural light, increase visual impact, and raise the feeling of space. It’s a  thermally broken aluminium system, so it combines strength, durability, and thermal  performance.

  • Thermal Efficiency: With thermally broken frame + advanced glazing, heat loss is  minimised, reducing energy bills and avoiding cold spots.
